Who am I? I’m a media and tech attorney, social media enthusiast, and “there’s an app for that devotee.” I’m a frequent panelist on all things digital and social media. I love technology, social media, and entertainment and have lucked out finding a way to put my JD to work in the intersection of all of the above. I help clients strategize on their digital media and advertising campaigns from a legal perspective, and when I go home I help my circle of content creators think about their own marketing and advertising activities from a “would I click on that” perspective. I’m not one for sleep.

What is technically.black? I hope it will be a resource for digital media nerds, a source of entertainment for entertainment lovers, and a platform that focuses on “our” contributions to this space. African-Americans are notoriously early adapters, on the forefront of new inventions, and have the spending power to consume all the technology we want. Yet, we’re often overlooked, underfunded, and some of us are still victims to a digital-divide.  Technically.black will be a piece of the bridge.

Anything else you should know?  I’m a Brooklynite. In my “spare” time (ha!), I can be found exploring my ‘hood, catching some local art, movies or music. I’m working on an app (details to come…) and trying out new ways to make my life easier. I’ll let you know how that goes.
